The Winter 2024 Quest released on December 14, 2024 with the Winter 2024 update. It was the first Winter themed quest in Dress to Impress. The Quest returned during Winter 2025.

The Quest introduces three new characters; Holly, Rudy and Santa Claus.

Start

Chapter 1

Storyline

Holly discovers that Santa Claus is missing, presumably due to Agamemnon. Chaos ensues as the elves in the workshop panic. Holly tasks the player with filling up the gifts within two minutes to calm the situation. Once completed, she mentions that Santa is likely trapped beneath an ice cave. The player(s) are then directed to navigate through a series of obstacles before visiting Rudy in the stables for further assistance.

Gameplay

The player(s) spawn in a cutscene where the narrator says that Santa is missing. Then, Holly, the head elf, enters Santa's room to give him a progress report. His door is wide open, his room is a mess, and his window is cracked. Holly discovers that Santa is missing and starts to panic. Then, she notices a note on Santa's desk. It’s a note from Agamemnon, stating that Holly will have to find Santa to bring back the spirit of Christmas.

The player(s) are spawned in the Candy Cane Forest and need to find Santa's Workshop. Once the player(s) find it, they are transported to another cutscene where the elves are seen panicking, while Holly is trying to organize everyone. The player approaches Holly, expressing their concerns and offering to help. Holly is very grateful and explains a bit about what needs to be done. After the cutscene, a UI pops up to explain how to play the workshop mini-game. Here’s how it works: There are four boxes, each containing toys: train, t-rex, doll, and tricycle. The player(s) must wrap a randomized number of gifts, which is based on how many players are participating. To wrap gifts, the player(s) must take the right toys to the corresponding gift boxes. Once the required number of gifts are wrapped, the player(s) are transported to another cutscene where Holly thanks them and informs them that they need to cross the candy obby and reach the reindeer stables.

The player(s) now need to navigate the obby. If the player falls into the water, they get frozen and must unfreeze themselves. There will be a thermometer with a white line moving across it and a green spot. The player has to stop the white line in the green spot to unfreeze themselves. Once unfrozen, the player must start over. If playing with other players, they can unfreeze each other. When the task is completed, the player(s) are transported to Chapter 2.

Appearance

You spawn at the Candy Cane Forest, presumably located in the North Pole, and there are many candy canes all around the forest. The ground is covered with lots of snow. Santa's Workshop is a little wooden building with windows and a snowy roof. Inside the workshop, there is a conveyor and many gifts everywhere. In the middle of the room, there are four boxes with the train, t-rex, the doll, and the tricycle. At the candy obby, first, you have to cross some peppermints and candy canes. Then you have to jump on bouncy jelly candies, and once you bounce to the last one, you have to cross more jelly-like candies that aren't bouncy. The candies are all frozen in ice. Then you have to cross more of the jelly-like candies while a candy cane spinner spins around them. When you cross that, you have to cross chunks of chocolate with candy cane spinners that spin like wrecking balls. After that, you have to cross the candy cane rock wall, which is located on the side of a snowy cliff.

Diary Entries

If you go to the right of where you spawn, you will find an abandoned cabin. If you enter the cabin, you will find it is a mess and the tables & chairs are knocked over. You will also see a book, which is Lana's journal.

Entry #1, December 24th, 2010

My family recently bought this old cabin so we could vacation "like a normal family". My mother thinks my butterfly collection is creepy, once we go back to our farm I'll just leave it. I feel connected to them somehow, but I wouldn't want to isolate myself even further from them than I already am. Anyways, I could have sworn I saw an actual reindeer yesterday but my parents didn't believe me. I know Santa Claus isn't real, but it didn't seem like one of my usual delusions.

Entry #2, November 23rd, 2024

It's been 14 years since I entered this dusty cabin. I need to be alone and secluded for a while. I feel so conflicted emotionally. I'm beyond grateful to finally be "freed". Somehow I still feel like parts of me are missing. While it's not my soul anymore, it's now my memories. There's too many gaps. I live in constant regret, I've done many things I'm not proud of. I question if I'm a good person, if it's even fair for me to blame Agamemnon for the pain I've caused others. Am I even allowed to ask "why me" anymore? Recently I've started having these recurring dreams, I'm not sure what they mean yet.

Entry #3, November 30th, 2024

I woke up in a cold sweat this morning, plagued with guilt and anxiety. Shouldn't I be happy now? Instead all I feel is sadness and loss. When Agamemnon took control I lost myself in all the chaos. I was manipulated into a society that controlled others for Agamemnon's benefit. I betrayed others, including those closest to me during the darkest times of my life. The hospital, I can't help but feel like what happened to Lina was my fault. I let my thirst for vengeance distract me from protecting someone who was clearly vulnerable, and looking for unhealthy attention. I forgive her, for all of it. We were just adolescents when it all transpired.

Entry #4, December 2nd, 2024

These past few days I've been reflecting on the past a lot. I've been experiencing very strange deja vu. Ever since I regained my soul again, there's been fragments of memories which aren't mine. There's an unexplainable sense of familiarity... With Christmas around the corner, it brings me back to my first Christmas spent at the hospital with Julie. It was such a fond memory. Lately, it's just been clouded by the haziness of my memory and the anger I harbor towards her. She promised we'd reunite, but she lied. She never came back, and she abandoned me like everyone else did. While it pains me, I could never hate her. I can only blame myself.

Entry #5, December 4th, 2024

I'm trying to learn how to forgive myself, while also re-learning my sense of self and identity. I worry that it wasn't only my soul that I regained when I was freed. I feel like I've been so many personas, my soul being split up nearly destroyed me. I've been everything, everywhere all at once. And yet, I don't know who I am. Perhaps I'm a fraud with no personality. What if like Lina, I needed him to matter? Or that's just what he wants me to think. This recurring dream is screwing with my brain. It's almost as if it's a puzzle that I have to piece together, but something's still missing. It feels... Important.

Entry #6, December 7th, 2024

I can feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, I can smell the saltiness of the ocean, yet it's still a distant blur. Someone is trying to send me a message through my dreams, and I have to figure out how to intercept it. My spirit has shifted, I need to venture on a quest of self-discovery and uncover the hidden truths within my psyche. I bought a folklore book from the bookstore in town, and read about an ancient ice cave nearby. Legend has it, the glacier waters possess magical properties. Forming The Fountain of Truth and Enlightenment. Only the purest of souls can consume the water and survive. My soul has been tainted before by Agamemnon, I may not survive. If I do manage to live, only fragments will become clear to me. Not the full truth.

	Narrator 'Twas the night before Christmas, and Santa's elves were hard at work preparing for the festive journey ahead!
	Narrator Holly, head-elf of Santa's toy productions, was on her way to Santa Claus' office to share a progress report...
	Narrator ...when she noticed his door was wide open!
	Holly Yoo-hoo! The gifts are almost ready San-... Santa? Helloooo, Santa Claus!? Where is he?...
	Narrator As she entered inside, she quickly noticed that his office was torn apart.
	Narrator His window was shattered, and there were a large pair of inhuman footprints scaling down the wall of his window.
	Narrator vanishing into the frozen endless depths of the North Pole...
	Holly GASP* OH NO... Oh no oh no oh no!!! Something TERRIBLE has happened here!
	Narrator Laid flat across Santa's desk, was a mysterious sealed envelope...
	Narrator Holly opened the envelope and read the strange message written inside.
	Holly Huh, what's this?
	Agamemnon "To whomever has the privilege of reading this message, know that it was I.
	Agamemnon If you wish to see Santa Claus once more, find me beneath the ice.
	Agamemnon Otherwise, the spirit of Christmas will cease to exist, along with your jolly boss." -A

	Holly We just need you to place the correct toy orders, within their corresponding gift boxes, before they reach Santa's magical gift-sack!
	Holly We usually work very fast, and very efficiently. So make sure you don't make an incorrect or incomplete order!

Chapter 2

Storyline

The player(s) encounter Rudy in the stables. Rudy guides the player(s) to the ice cave where Santa is being held, where the player(s) must ride a cart and choose to go to an ice edifice-like structure, enter an ice cave that leads to the door, or choose a door that leads to the next chapter.

Gameplay

After going through the cutscene, the player(s) have to avoid obstacles coming their way while riding Rudy. Wreaths give a speed boost, and hitting one obstacle makes the player stuck for about two seconds.

For the Winter Spotlight, players could collect an egg here.

Left

This path leads to a strange icy room with a fountain at the center. The player(s) can type out the code: "PALINGENESIA" to try out a secret... To the right, there is an ice cave leading to the ice door.

Center

This path leads directly back to the main room.

Right

This path leads straight to the door, where the player(s) can traverse to the final chapter.

Appearance

While avoiding obstacles and flying with Rudy, the player(s) will encounter multiple Christmas-related items such as gifts, snowmen, and wreaths. The floor is snowy, with pine trees obstructing the player(s) from going out of bounds. A white neon block is present at the end, teleporting the player(s) to the next stage.

In the icy cave, there are three minecarts, each leading to different paths:

• The left path has an interior resembling an ice castle. In the middle of four pillars, there is a fountain made of ice, and a fancy throne sits at the center. To the right, there’s an ice cave.
• The middle path leads directly to the ice cave.
• The right path leads to a door made of ice, which is lifted by a platform surrounded by ice.

Script

1st Cutscene

• Rudy: "Huh, humans!? What are you doing around these parts?"

• Player: "Rudy?! Wow, I've heard so many stories about you! Holly sent us. We need your help, Santa Claus has been kidnapped! He's being held in the ancient ice cave South of here. We need your reindeer to give us a ride there so we can save Santa Claus!"

• Rudy: "OH NO! I knew something was wrong when Santa didn't call us back to the workshop. The journey to the ice cave will be harsh, especially with this bizarre winter storm. Hop on!"

2nd Cutscene

• Player: "Goodbye Rudy, thank you for your help!"

Chapter 3

Storyline

The player(s) need to unlock an icy door and have a boss fight with Santa Claus that got possessed by Agamemnon, Once defeating him, santa will thank you for saving him, after that will appear a cutscene of the Santa's Workshop in completely chaos.

Gameplay

The player(s) will see is an icy door that will need to go through, the same as the end of Chapter 2's. In order to open it, will be needed to tap or click the screen when the line is over the green space of the bar. This is a part that is the same when you get frozen in ice during the Chapter 1's obby. Once the thermometer is full, the doors will open and it will cut to a cut scene.

The cut scene is between Santa Claus and the player(s). However, it is revealed it is Agamemnon. He has possessed Santa Claus, revealing his target isn't Santa but the player(s). Once the cut scene ends, the boss fight begins. The player(s) health is restored to full. The boss fight consist of avoiding Agamemnon's attacks while trying to pick up presents to throw at the possessed Santa.

There is a second part of the boss fight. This time, Possessed Santa can follow the player(s) and send different attacks, as well as a few of the same ones from the first round. The health is also replenished for this second round.

Once Agamemnon is defeated, Santa Claus thanks the player(s) for their help and wishes them a Merry Christmas. The final is a cut scene with Santa's Wokshop in completely chaos.

• Player: "SANTA CLAUS!? Is that you? I've come to rescue you! If we hurry, we can make it back to the workshop in time!

• Santa: "Santa Claus isn't here child. You silly humans don't deserve joy, nor the merry goodness of Christmas. Nonetheless, while a useful boost, Santa isn't my main target. YOU ARE."

• Santa: "His Christmas magic has aided my strenght, and now, I'll use it against you!"

• Player: "Agamemnon, your weakness is comical, you can't even face me! Instead you're using Santa Claus to fight me. Now, I'm going to save Santa and the spirit of Christmas!"

• Santa: "Foolish, foolish mortal. You've walked right into my trap, all to say this pitiful man.

• Santa: "Because of his primordial spirit, I can't fully harvest his soul, but you? You're MINE!

2nd Cutscene

• Player: "You're welcome Santa! Go spread Christmas cheer across the globe! Agamemnon can only spend time in the mortal realm, but for so long."

• Santa Claus: "HO, HO, HO! Merry Christmas to you! You'll forever be on my extra nice list!"

• Santa Claus: "It's time for us to get out of here now! I have gifts to deliver!"
