Before the official release of Style Showdown, a prototype/original version of Style Showdown was released to influencers for testing. Some changes were made, but the major things that did not make it into the final version were:
- The map being a slightly smaller version of the normal round version.
- There was no randomized items,
- Lana had some different dialogue. Additionally, Lana spoke whenever someone went on the runway.
- Some items/clothes were in their previous versions (ex. the jeans).
Additionally, Lana had snarky voice lines while players went on the runway. Due to feedback from influencers, the lines were removed.
The voice lines consist of:
- anonymous user, a supermodel in the making!
- anonymous user Incredible! You’ve made the crowd go…quiet?
- anonymous user puts us to shame!
- anonymous user proves that it’s okay to have a bad hair day!
- anonymous user is magnificent!
- anonymous user thought they clocked…more like chopped.
