Style Showdown

Style Showdown, also known as Summer Showdown during Summer events, is a round-based competition gamemode in Dress To Impress that released on March 1, 2025. The game-mode has received updates for various seasons, including collaborations, such as the Summer 2025 update, which introduced new challenges and an overhauled map, the DTI x Lady Gaga collaboration, which added new decorations, and Winter 2025, which added new challenges. On July 4, 2026, Style Showdown was overhauled once more, with over 100 items being added to rotation, new challenges, a new rank-progression system being added, and much more. Style Showdown is intended to be separate from the standard game mode, offering different ranks and sometimes, different items. Developer Zac stated that it was not planned for the gamemode to update with every main game update, with community manager Thuyen confirming that due to team backup, Style Showdown is not slated to release updates frequently.

Gameplay › Challenges

On release, 6 challenges were in rotation, which included Vote Reveal, Speed Round, Double Elimination, Random Item, Item Lock, and Pose Sync. On July 19, 2025, the Out for Lunch, Red Light Green Light, Desaturate, and Mystery Theme challenges were added to the challenge rotation. On August 16, 2025, the Zombieboy limited-time challenge was added. On October 18, 2025, the Lights Off challenge was added to rotation. On January 10, 2026, 3 new challenges, Frostbite, Lock In, and Witches, were added. On July 4, 2026, the Mermaids challenge was added to rotation, with Frostbite being removed. Challenges Red Light Green Light and Random Item both were updated as well.

In Rotation

Name	Icon	Description
Vote Reveal		Reveals every players vote while on stage in a randomized order
Speed Round		Changes the round time from 3 minutes to 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Double Elimination!		After one player is eliminated, another low voted player is eliminated as well.
Random Item		Each player gets a random item and it can not be removed until the next round. Previously assigned one random item for every player at the beginning of the round.
Item Lock		Players can not remove any items they equip during the round until the next round begins.
Pose Sync		At the end of one of the final rounds, two low voted players will be teleported to a stage to do a pose matching game. Players must click buttons at the right time to get more points. At the end of the round, Lana eliminates the lowest scoring player, that is if they didn’t use an Immunity Idol, which if used, will keep both players in the round, however as of August 16th, 2025 this challenge is unavailable due to unknown reasons.
Mystery Theme		Players will be given a theme with all the letters scrambled. As the game progresses, the text will unscramble itself, allowing the players to find out the theme for the round.
Out for Lunch - Back Soon!		A brief dialogue will play, stating to players that Lana went on her lunch break. Players will not be able to access Lana's Salon (hair, face and nails) until the next round.
Red Light Green Light		Players will need to stop moving their body when their screen goes red. They cannot move until the red screen disappears. If they do move, they get 'stunned' for a couple of seconds, meaning they are frozen in place. On July 4, 2026, the challenge was updated so that when stunned, players lose one of their equipped items.
Lights Off!		Makes the map darker for the round.
Lock In		Adds a button onto the screen and once clicked, players can no longer edit their outfit. Additionally, the round time is reduced by a few seconds.
Witches		Force players to wear Witch Hat and Broomstick items.
MERMAIDS!		Force players to wear the Mermaid Queen Tail and Mermaid Queen Arms.

Desaturate		The map, color wheel, palettes and the players saved colors will fade into black in white and back into color every few minutes. Was removed on January 10, 2026.
Frostbite		Makes the entire dressing room icy, causing players to slide around the ice. Additionally, ice skates are added to all players feet. Sometimes, a blizzard happens and adds snow and effects to the players screen. Was removed on July 4, 2026.

Zombieboy		Exclusive to Lady Gaga X DTI - The map is dark and turned into a graveyard. Random players are selected as "zombies" and players can give their zombie appearance and abilities to other players. As a zombie, players have less speed and are colored white with zombie-themed makeup.
