Freeplay Mode

Freeplay Mode Freeplay Mode is a Game Mode in Dress To Impress, released on May 17, 2024. This mode allows players to dress up without a theme or a time limit. Freeplay receives updates simultaneously with the main game. On October 19, 2024, Dressing Booths were introduced, allowing players to load their saved outfits. During the Summer 2025 updates, Freeplay received several new additions. A house and studios were introduced outside the Freeplay zone. Inside the house, various interactables were added, including beds, showers, stoves, fireplaces, seats (such as couches, beach chairs, pool tubes, and toilets), computers, and sinks. Each interactable features custom animations and audio while in use. Dressing Booths were also placed outside the Freeplay zone during this update. On August 30, 2025, a mini quest was introduced, which could only be completed within the Freeplay gamemode ones completed would unlock the Lana Doll. On September 20, 2025, the Scarlet's Treasure Hunt mini-quest was added to Freeplay. Completing Scarlet’s Secret, a hidden part of the quest, unlocks an additional toggle for the Lana Doll. During Halloween 2025, Freeplay recieved several new additions. A small town had been added to the outside of Freeplay with a Jack-O-Lantern statue in the center, the exterior of the Recording Studio reworked, and the Scarlet Mini-Quest being moved to the right side of the stage. Players have the option to go trick-or-treating at different houses across the town, either being rewarded prizes, nothing happening, or experiencing a jumpscare, with a 15-minute cooldown after knocking on all doors, or buy Tickets from Luna to play the Apple Bobbing minigame for rewards. During DTI x Wicked: For Good update, the Scarlet Mini-Quest was replaced with Elphaba's Broom to teleport to the Wicked lobby. During Winter 2025, Freeplay also recieved several additions. Photo booths from DTI x Lady Gaga has been re-added near the Recording Studio area, the outside area take places in Paris with ice skating area in the center. Players had options to get snowflakes by collecting them on the floor or doing Santa's Workshop minigame with 10 delivers per-day to get more snowflakes currency. During Valentine's 2026, Freeplay received another several additions, Winter Update outside area and freeplay runway map become more Valentine's themed, Photo booths from DTI x Lady Gaga on outside moved to the Recording Studio, the outside area take places in Paris again with Valentine's Park area in the center. Players had option to get Candy Hearts by collecting them by playing Florist Minigame in the greenhouse near Valentine's Park area, players can play 5 rounds a day, with each round consisting of more challenging rounds with a shorter time limit. After 5 rounds are played, a 20 hour (previously 24 hour) timer prevents players from playing again that day to received more Candy Hearts currency. During Spring 2026, the Freeplay received another big additions, the outside area take places in Tokyo and also used for intermission lobby too, the billboards on the outside were a references of celebrities and idol groups album cover. The Florist Minigame moves to the Seishin Gardens Area that can be accessed by interacting the train on Subway Station, the Recording Studio moves to a building and the Photo Booths from DTI x Lady Gaga were now removed. The Pet Cafe from Valentine's 2026 update are replaced by Cat Café that can be accesed on the Freeplay Mode only near the Podium. On the DTI x KATSEYE update, some of the billboards were changed to KATSEYE's song album cover and members. This is also affected to the Lobby. During Summer 2026, the Freeplay map received another big additions, the outside area take places in Rio de Janeiro. The outside area includes beach, houses, and the Christ of Redeemer statue. The Lana's Apartment were removed and replaced by a house, also added a new secret location, Backrooms that can be accessed by walking through a tunnel on the left side, two new Minigames were added, Board Surfing and Smoothies Minigame, Photo Booths from DTI x Lady Gaga were re-released outside of the Dressing Room.

Judge Panel

In front of the runway resides a judging table where players can make announcements and have access to rating scoreboards ranging from 0 to 10. Once clicked, a particle effect emits from the player and a scoreboard card becomes equipped.
