Body Types in Dress to Impress determine the base shape of a players models, affecting height, proportions, and how clothing fits.
Switching body types resets outfit, makeup, and hair. Some items (like certain clothing items or Accessories) are restricted to specific body types. Players can access two different body types opposite to the salon, on the back wall. By clicking on a specific body type, players will be prompted with a confirmation message, notifying if they switch, their previous outfit will be reset. Additionally, players can change their skin tone be changed via the tanning machines that can be found in the dressing room and VIP room.
On March 10, 2024, the Male body received an update, with a taller stance and new hands.
On June 29, 2024, both Male and Female body types received a small update, with optimizations and updated body details.
On October 19, 2024, both Male and Female body types received new hands, with Male bodies being updated with customizable Nails.
On February 7, 2026 during the Valentine's 2026 update, the Male body type received a rework alongside new animations.
