The Games

The Games update was an official summer collaboration with the Roblox Team, releasing on August 1, 2024 and ending on August 11, 2024. This update introduced three quests in collaboration with Roblox’s event of the same name. Players could unlock the Queen Mermaid Set if all three quests were completed. On June 28, 2025 during the Summer 2025 update, the set became obtainable again by placing in podium during a special round. If players already claimed the award from last year, they would get the Siren Mermaid Tail instead.

Quest

To complete the very first part of the quest, participants had to find all the shines scattered across the lobby and dressing room. Once collected, players could click "The Games" logo at the top of the screen next to the game status and complete a series of quests:

Quest › Part #1

Players need to partner with any duo either in the lobby or during a round, and need to place in the top 4. After completing this part, a pink portal will unlock outside the Lobby. Players must use this portal to get to the second part of the quest.

Quest › Part #2

Players need to place in the top 3 of an aquatic-themed obby. After doing so, another portal will open at the start of the obby, which teleports players to the final part of the quest.

Quest › Part #3

Players need to place in the top 3 of a mermaid-themed race. They can use white rings to grab a boost, and use the joy-stick or keyboard (depending on what device you're using), to switch lanes and avoid obstacles. Once players reach the white light, the final badge for the Roblox event will be rewarded to them. After completing the final quest and passing through the last portal, players could redeem the code using the codes menu on the top left of the screen and claim the Queen Mermaid Set.

The teaser post shown on TikTok had a music change due to copyright. The portal used in this update would be later used for Halloween 2024, Winter 2024, and other quests, just with seasonal decor removed and replaced.
