Tokyo
Tokyo was a Freeplay Mode Map in Dress To Impress first introduced on April 4, 2026 during the Spring 2026 (Trip to Tokyo) update. It is the second real-world location to be featured in-game following Paris, France and replaced with Rio de Janerio in the Summer 2026 update. Based on Tokyo, Japan, it features a number of recognizable settings and landmarks heavily influenced by the Shibuya and Harajuku districts of the city, in particular Takeshita Street and Shibuya Crossing. This location was made by Harht.
Exterior Areas › Kirameki District
The Kirameki District is the first area of Tokyo players enter when leaving the Dressing Room. The Kirameki District sign acts as the podium, and is based on the real life sign seen on Takeshita Street in Harajuku, Tokyo. The Makeover Boutique, the Cat Cafe, DTI Headquarters and a store selling plushies are located here.
Exterior Areas › Shibuya Crossing
Shibuya Crossing (based on the real life Shibuya Crossing) is a large, city intersection full of tall buildings, billboards, vehicles and subway stations. It connects to the Kirameki District and features a number of locations, including; the Recording Studios, Sakura Heights (aka Lana's Apartment), a stage, a statue of Hachikō, a small clothing store and during the DTI x KATSEYE update, the EYEKONS Lounge.
Exterior Areas › DTI x KATSEYE
During the DTI x KATSEYE update, some KATSEYE themed props and billboards were added around Shibuya Crossing. They were removed when the DTI x KATSEYE update ended.
Exterior Areas › Seishin Gardens
The Seishin Gardens, also known as Traditional Area can be accessed from the Subway Station by boarding the train. This location features large cherry trees and traditional Japanese architecture. The Florist minigame can be found here.
Interior Areas › Subway Station
The Subway Station can be accessed by entering the via the station entrances at Shibuya Crossing. It features a subway train that transports players to the Seishin Gardens area.
Interior Areas › Cat Café
The Cat Café can be accessed on the corner of Shibuya Crossing and the Kirameki District near the podium. It features 8 cats players can interact with and a number of seating areas.
Interior Areas › Makeover Boutique
The Makeover Boutique is located in the Kirameki District. Initially locked during the release of the Spring 2026 update, it was later unlocked during Week 3 of the the DTI x KATSEYE update. This is where players can play the Makeover Boutique mini-game.
Interior Areas › EYEKONS Lounge
The EYEKONS Lounge was an unlockable lounge area accessible from Shibuya Crossing after completing the DTI x KATSEYE Scavenger Hunt. It was removed once the DTI x KATSEYE collaboration ended.
Interior Areas › Recording Studios
The Recording Studios are located in Shibuya Crossing near the Hachikō Statue. The interior is the same as the Recording Studio from previous updates.
Interior Areas › Sakura Heights
Sakura Heights is the name of the apartment building in Shibuya Crossing where Lana's Apartment is located. However, the apartment itself is the same as the one introduced during the Valentine's 2026 update - so is located in Paris, not Tokyo.
